Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning’s hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circling flight.
I am the soft starlight at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.
This three-minute ad for a Thai mobile phone company has gone viral, with close to two million views in just four days.
But it still demonstrates that posting something online is useless without a well-executed idea – which this most certainly is.
I know I haven’t been very present on here lately, and I’m sorry but I’ve been SO busy.
Buuut I need the magic of Tumblr to help me out.
We have just launched a new awareness campaign for organ donation in 16-20 year olds called Licence 2 Give
Did you know that right at this moment there are 7649 people in the UK alone waiting for a life saving organ transplant?
Did you know that signing up to the organ register can save up to 50 LIVES?
I know religion isn’t very big on here, and I know we’re mostly sound minded, pro-rainbow, pro-equality, pro-unicorn type people, so let’s be pro-donor.
Follow @licence2give on twitter and tell us about your fails, mishaps etc using the hastag #itsokcozimanorgandonor
Follow us on Instagram at licence2give and instagram your fails to us using #itsokcozimanorgandonor
And PLEASE reblog this.
Let’s be the superhero generation that gets rid of the stigma behind organ donation so we can finally save lives.
